    Sunrise journey is Mountain Rider’s most popular Maui bike tour. Watch a magical Maui sunrise atop 10,023 foot Mt. Haleakala, view the spectacular Crater & enjoy biking 26 miles from the Haleakala Park entrance to the Pacific ocean at Paia Beach Park!     Haleakala Bike Company's Sunrise Special arrives at Haleakala’s 10,023′ summit to view the sunrise at the rim of the crater. You’ll be given a guided van tour (1 to 1 1/2 hours) of the park and will watch the sunrise at the crater. You’ll then be taken just outside of the park’s entrance at 6,500 feet where you'll be provided with a Kona mountain bike, helmet, backpack, rain/wind gear, gloves and a map with points of interest. Experience a self guided 23 mile bike ride down the mountain back to their store in Haiku returning no later than 4pm. If you decide to be picked up at your hotel, then you will need to return to their shop by 11:00 am.
